Officially, you don&#039;t need to be a member in order to read and reply.  In fact, now that you&#039;ve got an approved comment on here, you won&#039;t be awaiting moderation for any new ones.  

I&#039;ll continue to x-post to LJ, as the security settings over there ensure that only specific people see it.  However, I keep some posts on here that are strictly for registered members.  Mostly stuff where I discuss job-hunting and whining.  =p    I have the ability to allow other users to author posts here.  I doubt that I would, but you never know.  

So, register if you want.  It&#039;s up to you.  =)</description>
